



Erica Delgado brings over 18 years of experience in transportation and currently serves as the Transportation Supervisor for J.O. Combs Unified School District #44. Beginning her career as a bus aide, she has worked her way through nearly every position in the department. Erica's passion, determination, and ability to overcome challenges within both the district and the community have shaped her into a strong leader.
Known for her dedication to her staff, Erica's leadership has been instrumental in navigating key challenges such as driver shortages. Her commitment to safety is unwavering, as she ensures her team remains educated on the latest standards and regulations. With students at the forefront of her focus, Erica continually pushes to enhance her department’s services.
Erica is proud to be part of a supportive operation, where she leverages her skills to benefit not only her district but the state of Arizona. Her loyalty and dedication to the "School Bus World" continue to drive her passion for making a lasting impact in student transportation.

Hilma is currently the administrator of transportation for Glendale Union High School District. With over 32 years in the student transportation industry, she has held positions of bus driver, trainer, special needs dispatcher, supervisor and director. She has served on the Transportation Administrators of Arizona (TAA) and the Arizona Association for Pupil Transportation (AAPT) Executive Board serving positions as region representative, President, and currently serves as the treasurer. She was honored as the 2017 Transportation Director of the Year by the Arizona Association for Pupil Transportation. Her leadership skills and strong work ethics is driven by the school bus yellow that flows through her veins. Transportation is truly in her heart and soul!


Kim has been with Prescott Unified School District for 17 years. She has held the position of Administrative Assistant and has been the Director of Transportation for the past four years.
She is passionate about student transportation and looks forward to supporting region 2.





I began my career in student transportation in 1998 with Flagstaff Public Schools. I have been the Director of Transportation for Higley Unified School District for the past 23 years. During this time I was a member of TAA serving as Region 6 Representative, Treasurer, Vendor Liaison as well as President during 2009 – 2011.



Patrick has been in transportation since 2005. He started as a school bus driver driving routes, trips and subbing before becoming a dispatcher, then router and in 2019 he was selected as the Director of Transportation in the Flagstaff Unified School District. He is currently retired.
Patrick has been an active member of TAA since 2018.

Jason Nelson is a transportation program manager with the Arizona School Risk Retention Trust. With over 14 years’ experience in the transportation industry, Jason has driven a bus, held positions in dispatch and routing, and supervised a transportation department with more than 100 employees. He has also served as a board member for the Arizona Association of Pupil Transportation (AAPT) and as president of the Transportation Administrators of Arizona (TAA). Jason has a “can-do” attitude and is passionate about improving school bus transportation in the state of Arizona.
